In addition to her studies, Kristine enjoys traveling. She has visited two continents outside of North America and 4 countries. Most recently, she visited Australia where she held koala bears and fed cassowaries. Kristine has a passion for animals and the environment, finding ways to be involved by volunteering and working in those fields.
Currently a junior in Florida State University's Environment and Society major pursuing a minor in geology, Kristine enjoys learning about the Earth and how humans impact it. She's held jobs that allow her to learn and teach others about wildlife, Earth's processes, and the biomes found on our planet. Her favorite classes in her program have been an energy and resources course, a course on coral reef ecology, and her physical geology course with a lab.
